Geek Charming

Geek Charming by Robin Palmer

Date Read: Nov. 7 - Nov. 19, 2009

My Rating: 5 (out of 5)

Summary: When there's an incendent with the "it" bag, Dylan snatches Josh, a total geek. Once he gets it out of the fountain, there "the deal." He wants to make a documentary on the "popular" crowd. In the end, Dylan is forced to do it. But then she realizes, geeks aren't all that bad. A geek actually becomes her best friend. Three weeks before the Fall Fling, her boyfriend, Asher, dumps. Dylan is left alone, which isn't her best state of mind. Dylan then humiliates herself in front of all her peers. She gets herself back together, and realizes, maybe popularity wasn't for her, and, that you can find your true love at a film festival. :)

My Review: I love the situation here! I am a sucker for princess-y sort of books and this was a GREAT one! I love the way she wrote the book, and how it was in the present time. Though I think in the end, it shoukd have ended differnently, it was still a really good book. :)

The Clique

The Clique by Lisi Harrison

Date Read: Nov. 2 - Nov. 6, 2009

My Rating: 4.5 (out of 5)

Summary: Massie, Alicia, Dylan, and Kristen are the clique--the most popular girls at their school, OCD. But when Claire moves into Massie's guest house the clique takes a whirl wind. With Claire wearing her two-year-old Gap jeans, the girls automaticaly ignore, or more like make fun of her. Then Claire comes back to revenge, things get dirty.

My Review: I think this book will be going on my favorite book list! I was great! This suspense was awesome! I can't wait to read the next book in the series! The way Harrison wrote it was great, especially the Place, Date, Time at the beginning of each chapter. I also liked the texting. :)

If you really think, a similar situation has happened for real. It's crazy to think at the end of the book, it turned out all good after all the "battles" between Claire and Massie, Alicia, Dylan, and Kristen.
